I Got My Medical Yearly Physical Check-up Yesterday

I have my yearly physical medical check-up. That includes everything like weight, blood pressure, urine test (excluding height check and ear check as there's some apparatus put on an ear as just like before, I don't know what is that for) physical including pap smear and breast cancer detection just physical as mammogram is not yet advisable, thanks goodness. :-) As ever, my medical doctor/ob-gyne is great.I came late for minutes and she came late too, haha! Oops.. kidding aside. Before she came unto her clinic room, I walked and saw other doctors clinic rooms and their medical carts are awesome. The place is neat and clean too. I love my doctor (Dra. Anita Mercado) because she keeps me at ease. She's from my birth country (not racist, ok!), she is great. We even talk our primary language, I can hardly utter sometimes as I am already used with our second language but not bad as we understand well, we laugh too. :) Major point for that yearly physical exam is for birth control pills as it requires doctor's permission. Yes, I had my year supply and I just get it automatic every a week before 28th day of the month, without calling them because I enrolled to CVS pharmacy automatic refill. The pharmacy asked and I was glad they told me that I could do it that way. The pharmacy even calls me whenever it is ready and DH could even get it without me. Okay back to doctor's signature or how do you call that term (thinking)? You have it in your mind. I just forgot the term, sorry about it. Then had my blood test after the medical talk and a little chitchat. I observed, I was afraid of needles unlike before, why oh why? Err! But everything's well, DH got me and went home with bandage on my right middle arm from blood test. Will get back next Friday for the result. The doctor said no need for paying as I will just get my blood test result.

  1. It's great to have your annual physical and medical check up. And it's wonderful too to have a physician you can relate to, a kababayan at that. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
