Treating Small Home Like a Jewel Box

The kitchen, regardless of the size, is the heart of a modern home. This is also a social space where family members eat together, and sometimes entertain friends. However, if your kitchen space is relatively small, you also need kitchen appliances for small kitchens. It makes sense to place your large appliances such as washing machine and tumble dryer and, of course, the increasingly indispensable dishwasher within an overall fitted kitchen, which will often include spaces for them to be installed. To save extra space and give yourself more storage room in a fitted kitchen, buy an integrated washer-dryer, choose the quietest models, so that you can run them at night and still get to sleep. Buy a compact refrigerator freezer, small gas or electric range and more.

Your plumbing will dictate, to an extent at least, where these can be located, and most dryers need to be positioned by an outside wall, to accommodate the exhaust vent. You should also remember to take note of the measurements of the spaces you have for these kitchen appliances for it varies in size, and you don’t want to spend a significant amount of money on something that doesn’t fit in the space available.
