Don't you love to think that December is around the corner? Okay, let's have November first before that. And so, hello November 1st! Hep, hep, hooray! Ha ha!
Alright, we just said goodbye to October. So, how's your first day of this month? I know it is still going to get night here in Pacific Time but in Eastern, it already is. And so is on the other part of the world like Philippines (my birth country), it is already second day of this month there.
Ooh well, speaking of November 1st and 2nd, I can imagine how fun it is in my birth country as my family circles gather along to visit our family members in the cemetery, whose already been in heaven. Such day, as Roman Catholic, are All Saints Day and All Souls Day. We gather flowers and candles as well as attend mass to commemorate. Also, the best part is the bonding with good foods. It is some kind of an occasion, in fact, it is a holiday in the Philippines on the 1st.
Somehow, I can still feel the spirit of it here in United States of A when it's already the end month of October as it is a Halloween Trick or Treat time. I think it's because I am not that active in the church affair and basically since my husband is not of the same religion as mine. Also, I don't have family circles here. Ooh well, I cannot complain that much. Ha!
And so, I'll just then great everyone a Happy 1st Day of November! ~hugs~
