Hot Cars, Hyperthermia-Summer Safety Tips for Kids

It's a shame that every year 30-40 kids die from heat stroke when they are left in a vehicle while the driver runs in somewhere on a short errand or when the driver just plain forgets they're there.. Temperatures even on 70 degree days quickly become life threatening as the rays from the sun come in and get trapped. It's the greenhouse effect. Over fifty percent of children who die from hyperthermia after being left in a vehicle are less than 3 years old and have been forgotten by caregivers. About thirty percent are children who get in vehicles to play.

There is no excuse for leaving children alone in any vehicle to run errands! Parents should know better. There are summer safety tips for kids that should be followed to make sure the child isn't forgotten in the back seat. Putting a briefcase or pocketbook in the back seat so you'll have to get back there will be a reminder that there is an infant or toddler there. Maybe one day car manufacturers will develop a special safety alarm to alert drivers when a child is left in a car seat.

Another way kids die in hot cars is when people leave the vehicle unlocked and the child climbs in to play. Car doors should be kept locked and keys out of children's reach. You should also look into getting an adt securityalarm system for when you child is home alone.

My Ruby Tuesday #12 : RED Buses

Weeks or months ago, DH and I went to downtown Los Angeles to get our fave ordered foods (fried tilapia, red beans and rice, french fries, plantain, fried catfish, collard greens, peach cobbler, pink lemonade, and alike) in his fave food chain near his house in Los Angeles (before) --- that was afternoon (we usually eat our lunch at two o'clock PM). And off we went after fifteen minutes after he ordered it. It is fifteen minutes to reach our destination but before that when we were about to be at such area, the red traffic light was on and we waited with some cars with the red light. It where I got a chance to capture (I captured it through my phone) one of Los Angeles red buses which you can see below.

Yep, that's one of the buses that transports public passengers from one place to another. That actually has a lot of design and what you can see above is one of the cool design I have seen. It's pretty neat and shiny red. ;-) It's really cool because it is not bad for the eyes (some red are just too bright). You can also see at the right corner from my position (am at passenger's set at the car) that there is also a beautiful red car. Red is just so beautiful and attracts attention in its simple way. And other red bus below which is far more bigger than above(it's not really visible how big it is in an image but I telly you, it is such big in person) and has a lot of doors was a bus that I saw in the neighborhood parked at the large back of the shopping centers. Yes, the parking lot is for rent. And I guess they rent it for just few nights as to what the security guard (I talk to the guard after I bought something at nearby shopping place) said that they are from a show entitled "Parenthood" and they were filming at our place from one are to another (for a change)... I was pretty amazed of its doors, many doors it has to which it lead me to saw the other folks doing (busy cooking at their respective big beautiful booths. Ooh well, I guess those were just minor casts. There are many beautiful motor homes at that time in such particular place. I was unfortunate enough to see how they filmed in person. I just remembered one time I was with my DH (after new year 2010) in his work place, there's filming about a news at their big ground. It was such a cool coincidence.. ;-)

An Insurance for the Car

People in America and perhaps everybody know that a car cannot be driven without any car insurance in here and perhaps also in your place or all over the world. You surely know if you have a car. It is a must here in United States, therefore everybody gets it. As I know from my friends aside from stabilization of economy day, many are looking for a cheap car insurance so they can save for a couple of bucks or put that extra budget for some other need for the house. His Insurance Plan

My DH is into different insurances. Though he didn't like to get insurances because it ads only to our expenses but he is obliged to just car, it needs car insurance before it will be up and running or else authorities will be up on you since it is a law. His car insurance company is way old in him already and I could say it's good to have it aside from it is a law but I don't know if how did he acquire it---if he use car insurance quotes to get such desired price because it is pretty a good deal. He don't have any problem and it is serving him good. As to what I knew starting from our bf-gf relationship, I haven't heard that he got accident or whatsoever but he said he did and it is serving him the services he wanted to. I am thankful to such. Really, it is good to have car insurance besides the fact that it is a law. Well, laws are being imposed for the good of the people so its pretty good to be obedient and careful at the same time in driving. Be safe as always 'coz health is wealth!

My Friend's Plan

A friend of mine wanted to have a new car this year because of the capability of her car's engine. It doesn't serve her good anymore. In fact, it had been on shop many times so she decided to buy new one even it is a "used car" already. With that, she's checking both offline and online car prices in advance so she have an idea of how much she would have to allocate everytime she has her paycheck as in budgeting time. And so, because she already has in mind on what model, style, type and cost it is last year, she will just only has to recheck if the price is still the same this year. Well, I don't know if the prices goes down or high these days but she's positive she will buy it very soon. And I am happy for her because she will need it for her work. She did a smart plan.

Sightseeing in New York

Hi folks, how would you like a vacation in New York to have a sight-seeing? I guess mostly love sight-seeing when having a vacation to relax from the work stress. Isn't it would be a great vacation you are wishing for places like New York? By the way, would you like to ride a bus like above? Are you excited to hopping-in with it?

If I have the privilege of going to New York for a New York Sightseeing vacation tour one day, I would like to ride in a bus like the image above. I can imagine how it feel when I will be at the top of the bus. I can see the beauty of the place. The tourist attraction is awesome when seeing it widely with the comfort of the ride - an enjoyable ride! Then, stopping-by at the shop destination, and other interesting places of attraction. It will be so much fun, isn't it?

And not only that being in a harbor cruise, a helicopter ride, boating, roaming around in the museums, or touring around the attraction places known worldwide are great things to enjoy while vacationing there. It would be so much fun. Places like these and rides like those surely will entertain tourist while being there. It would be fun!

Would You Love to Visit New York?

New York City is a very nice place. I haven't been in there and I do wish to go for a vacation. I would love to have a tour and have a picture in front of the statue of Liberty.. (~_~)Well, also boating and some swimming. Having a good time to see its beautiful spots and some other interesting sites which describe what New York is. If ever I have the privilege to have a vacation in there, I will also walk on the Wall Street as well to feel the city's hustle bustle. I guess in having a tour, I would have to ride in a New York Bus Charter like everybody else does. What do you think, would you like to go with me if I will be there? (~_~).. I hope so.. one day.. That would be an awesome vacation. Anyway, New York is a big city and there are lots of attractions so everybody will surely enjoy if going a vacation in there. Have a happy vacation then..
