Carpet Deep-Cleaning Plan

Since our rented apartment home is not that big and only our temporary home, my husband said that it is not wise enough to buy a deep-cleaner for our carpet. So I have to take care of it like a baby. But since I have a terrible-two years old toddler, it is expected that it will dirty compared before. And I don't like the idea of being it stained for long, yep, especially that I have a heart baby.

And off I go thinking of having this cleaned as soon as possible. I just have to find a good deal to have this taken cared of. It will also be Christmas soon, so it is best to have it done.

Good luck to me of when it will be and finding a deal. :-) After all, it is what the best to do. Have a great day! ~hugs~

A House is a Home

A home is a house where you are comfortable living.

Nowadays we can see people sleeping in the streets because they don’t have home. How lucky those who have their own home. A home where we can sleep, can relax and can make our own move . We have different perspective on what home we really mean to say. For me there is more wide meaning on it, when you got married and you don’t have your own home yet, one tradition in other countries like in my birth country, in this situation is you will be with the parents of either in the side of the husband or wife, where in you will going to deal with your in laws, a new home where a lot of adjustment must take.

A new home where to start the new chapter of your life. This is a place where you can mold yourself into a responsible husband/wife or even if you are in your single days then this will be more challenging. Decorating and checking on every angle of your home surely feel so relaxing, isn't it?

From Single to Married

I’m now happily married and I enjoying it. I have the vision and perspective how to live being married. I observed in my environment those people having married life, they have more responsibilities, their lives turns into different ways.

During my single days, it was fun --- yes, that is true. Being single you only have to think your own. You are only responsible on your own, you don’t need to think of others. But time comes that I was burning out being single, so entering marriage was really a great challenge for me, though I was at the right age then.

It is not that an easy to be married, you need to double your work, more responsible in order to feed your family, there are times you have misunderstanding with your partner. It comes in your married life the ups and downs, but unlike boyfriend- girlfriend stage that you can decide to let go your relationship in an easy way. In your married life, you must sacrifice for the sake of your family and lower your pride to settle the problem as in each must listen to each other's explanation . But on the other side, married life is a happy life!

Happy 6th Years Wedding Anniversary!

A couple dear to my heart is celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary this day. I want to greet them a happy, harmonious togetherness, and as sweet as a wine that the longer it stays in a barrel, the greater the taste it has. They may not be the best and perfect couple of what others may think, but because of togetherness as a couple, is what counts. I believe that when " a couple/family stays together, that couple forever " --- I hope so! God bless them.

They may not be having a fancy celebration but I think the togetherness on their very wedding day commemoration is what counts. Whatever they have in mind, I wish them granted. All I can say is great job for them. For six years of just being themselves (with no family near to give advices or so), they manage to overcome the obstacles came their way and hopefully, faithfully in the coming trials that are still coming. God is good, HE won't leave anyone that believe in HIM. Just keep holding on, until then.

And so, Happy, Happy 6th Wedding Anniversary! God bless their marriage!

When Taking Care of Yourself

The move to look more beautiful of using more natural personal care products has grown in leaps and bounds recently, giving conscientious consumers more products to choose from. From natural to organic, there is a lot to consider when selecting products for a daily regimen. In addition, don’t forget trying to avoid excess or inefficient product packaging. It is possible to choose products that are not harmful to the environment, to any places or so and still bring out your natural beauty.

If you are interested in more environmentally friendly lotions, shampoos, makeup, and soap, you may want to look at the chemicals in the products you use every day. Read the fine print on the labels. When it comes to soap, go mild. Strong soaps can remove natural moisturizers. Don’t go for dark hair dyes. They may contain coal tar ingredients. And avoid baby powder for it is not healthy for babies to breath.

House Hunting

When you begin house hunting, take the time to find out as much as you can about the areas you are interested in, unless you are only investing it not as your own home soon. Nearly every city places has neighborhoods on the upward swing that promise increased home values in the near future. Here are some signs of a growing neighborhood:
  • An increasing number of homes are being sold to people from other areas of the city or from out of town.
  • New and existing homeowners in the neighborhood are investing in home remodeling and renovations.
  • The majority of homes are owner-occupied, not rented. The neighborhood has an active community association.
  • Transportation projects such as new roads, bridges, mass transit are under way to improve access to the area.
Don’t rely solely on the commute times given by neighbors you talk to on the street or the owners of particular home you are looking at. Make the actual commute from the neighborhood to your place of work, and back again during rush hour to find out how long it is really going to take.

Organizing Cleaning Materials

If everything is kept organize, it will be easier for you to work and you won’t waste time looking for something when you need it. This is so true, but there were times that I just put things on the wrong place especially if I have to run for my daughter. The good thing is we are living in the first floor in the apartment complex we live in. But if you are living in a two- or three-storey house, or should I say in the 2nd or in the higher floors of an apartment complex, it might be worth if you have these important things on every floor such as vacuum cleaners (or put it in the floor where you gonna used it often so that you can have them on the same floor whenever you want to use it, unless if you will going get it when your child is sleeping, the con is --- it would take more effort and time for you.

Also, it is good if all cleaning equipment and supplies in or near the bathroom, and it should be cleaned and dry as possible, so it is ready for the next use. Be sure that any enclosure where cleaning materials are stored has ventilation holes in the door to allow volatile materials to evaporate from cloths, sponges, and mops. Hang them to prevent premature wear, molds and deformation that result in loss of usefulness.

The Feeling of Being Home Sick

The feeling of being homesick, is not really easy. Though, I can say I already have a new home which is where my own little family live (I and my husband together with our one and only daughter), I can tell and prove that I am still being homesick where my extended family lives and where I born, in the Philippines. I experience such when I went to other place to study way years back and now to be with the love of my life, as I said with my own little family, though. Imagine the distance between us, it’s far from my imagination but then that is life.

You don’t know where you go and where you are bound to one. Reminiscing such, the feeling of getting excited because I will leave in other place, new friends and new environment, I expect it is more adventurous living in the other country of course , I expect more fun unlike province and more knowledge. Time comes it happened, it was not what I expected, why I cry! Why I miss my family and friends, why is the environment like this, I can’t sleep early because the people don’t sleep that too early like in the province, the people have its different culture with ours. I don’t know what I felt that time, it’s a mixed emotion. But time goes on and on, and now on the other hand, I am totally "in" where I live together with my husband and daughter. Amazing how did I survived for those lonely nights and days I had. Adjustment of the environment I’m living makes me comfortable and I overcame in time, though there are still times in this place that I missed being there in my birth country because of living difference, though.

It's a great place, still despite of (I believe we can't have everything, the most important is we have what we need)! ~hugs&kisses~

Store Your Clothes Carefully

I am a mom to my only child and a wife to my only husband. :) It is my responsibility to take care of them as much as I could. And since I stayed at home 24/7 a week, it is also my responsibility to take care of the house such as cleaning, cooking, and helping my husband to save money by minimizing my shopping expenses, taking proper care of our clothes, and more. Yes, I am a housekeeper and a homemaker.

Anyway, I have few suggestions on how to take care of your clothes properly. First, if you are using mothballs keep them in loosely fastened cloth bags so the chemicals in them do not damage your clothes. Second, store clothes in a dark area that is protected from temperature extremes. Choose a closet or chest, not an attic or basement. When you use wooden hangers, make sure your clothes do not touch the wood because it contains oils that can stain the fabric.

Mailpix Fleece Blanket

As my hubby said, " it's a very nice family flag! ". Smile. :) He seldom admire stuffs. He is an old school-type and he never comment on anything modern or he just like whatever he needs. This time, it seems like it's a luxury (oh yes, it is!) for a fleece blanket to have a big picture of what one really likes. It's a personalized one. As in you got to choose what picture (I bet you, if you got a chance to have this, you will going to put your favorite pic like me. Ah ha! *wink*) you like to put into it. And I choose the pic of my family. And here it is! Mailpix enlarged my picture sent or the stuff I created for my personalized fleece blanket. And guess what, it just came from my uploaded pictures in my Facebook. Whew! Great, isn't it? It's overwhelming, positive one. It's my first time and yes, it exceeds my expectation on how they managed to beautifully print it with integrity as is. :)
It's really awesome but you have to know that it is a thin fleece blanket and that so big, a toddler could use it but not for adult. But I advise to use as a wall decor as a family flag or a ready-to-go blanket in case you're going to the park or alike. :) So cool! Isn't it?

Care for Your Elderly?

I have read a quote but it sounds like a joke. It said “Be nice to your kids. They will choose your nursing home.” And “Be generous to your kids. They will buy you good things in return.” Which quote can be true, the first quote, second quote or both? The reason why I remembered that quotes it is because I have found an online store where you could buy things for your elders.

If you have grown up in a loving home, or if you love your parents, guardians, parents-in-law, then you don’t want them to be deprived from the things they needed, or from the things that they wanted to have. After years of feeding, disciplining and educating, I guess it is our duty now to let our parents be happy, contented and living a comfortable life.

Anyhow, if you are looking for protective underwear or diapers for men, you may like to check it out for yourselves on depends for men with tabs. I have read that some underwear for men is like regular underwear because of its shape. In addition to that, the materials used for this product is soft and stretchable to ensure that it would fit to a man. Some others has comfortable elastic legs to prevent against leakage, and it holds 26-28 oz of fluid.

Floor Cleaning

It is important to have a regular floor-care schedule, but I couldn’t do it regularly for I have a little baby that needs my attention most of the time. I could only work a little when Sarah is sleeping, or when she has lots of activities inside the crib.

Floors that are heavily trafficked will require more frequent maintenance than floors that get less use. I am just lucky that there are only two pairs of adult feet, and one pair of baby’s feet walking around the house. So, cleaning the floor is not really a hard job for me.

And besides, when Sarah spilled her food on the floor such as milk, baby cereals, juices, and even water, I cleaned it right away to avoid stain or spot on the floor. Anyway, my husband is my best partner. He also take care of Sarah while I clean our floor when he is at home.

Home Decorations and Furniture

Decorations and accessories such as frames, curtains, furniture, fresh flowers, and potted live plants make a house pleasant and attractive. A home should be decorated to beautify your surroundings and to reflect your personality and lifestyle. A room becomes more interesting when it has different kinds of flowers in a variety of forms, shapes and textures. Flowers make our homes look fresh and colorful. They add life cheer and brightness to the surroundings. Flower arrangement is also a form of expression to our ideas and feelings.

Pieces of furniture and home appliances are furnishings that make the house more attractive and presentable. As a wise buyer, you should consider the following when choosing furniture:
  • Buy furniture according to your budget.
  • It could be used for a long period of time.
  • It must be appropriate to the room.
  • It is comfortable and suited to your lifestyle, and
  • It has attractive total concept design.

Animal Print Design Bedding

When choosing a mattress for your bed, choose the ones that are made of a unique material that conforms to the shape of your body, rather than the other way around. Choose the soft, but firm for more comfortable feeling. A mattress that will let your body find its most comfortable position and support it there, giving you a feeling of complete weightlessness and the best night’s sleep possible. However, to enable your mattress will have a long-lasting life, you should cover it with bedding. It could help your mattresses to lengthen the color of the mattress, and it also gives a pleasant view if you cover it with beautiful bedding designs.

When it comes to a bedding design, animal print bedding is really attractive to me. I actually like to have
animal print bedding sets
to which I ought to have one day soon. I am planning to buy one set this coming Christmas holiday as a gift for myself. I think the husband would have a big smile on his face if I will going to have animal print design for our bedding. He likes animal print, and even to our other stuffs in the house. He prefers animal designs such as zebras and horse designs. Anyway, visiting the link that I have provided would guide you to a site where you could find great animal print designs.

What I like Most About My Home

Whenever we have family problems we discuss it openly and argue and debate on possible solutions. We do this a lot when we search for reasons. For example, whenever I do something off-beat, my husband would call my attention. And we would be into intense discussion, sometimes pushing us on the verge of quarreling with each other. In the end, though, we would come up with a consensus. The best solution, whoever suggested it, we would adapt.

I enjoy this setup. And I think my husband does too. Sometimes, when the husband came home from work, I told him that I missed him while he was gone for the whole day. The husband would answer me teasingly that I miss him including our good arguments. :-) It is a healthy discussion, you know. Aside from the give and take, I enjoy the simplicity of our way of life. I couldn’t ask for more. We are satisfied with whatever we have.

Know What’s Covered

In reality, health care is definitely a big business. In fact, it is the country’s number one form of commerce. But patients often face a stacked deck. Health care providers such as hospitals and doctors want to make money. Managed-care organizations want to save money. Your personal health would be the third. The key to getting quality medical care is to be assertive. You cannot entrust this crucial issue to anyone else.

Here’s a simple tip on how to get the most out of your managed-care plan. Read carefully the plan documents provided by the employer or insurer to know what is covered. Don’t wait for a medical emergency to do this important fact-finding. If someone in your family has a medical condition that doesn’t seem to be covered, call the insurer’s customer service number or emergency hotline. Ask what treatment options are covered, otherwise, you may end up paying for it yourself.

Do You Have the Best Attorney?

Life insurance may be one of the most economical investments you make. If you have the life insurance, your beneficiary’s future is secured when you will gone. However, if you purchase a life insurance trust, then you should hire a lawyer to do the document so that your beneficiaries would not create an argument when you will gone. Let them know that the life insurance trust you have bought is an irrevocable, and non-amendable, which means that when the insured died, it is the Trustee would manage the insurance proceeds in behalf of the beneficiaries. Usually, it is the non-insured spouse and children are often beneficiaries of the insurance trust.

If you don’t have any idea of this type of insurance, it would be good to you to read more information about insurance trust. There are books that the main topic is all about insurances. You could also consult a lawyer before purchasing this type of insurance. Choose a trusted and reliable lawyer that has the knowledge on handling any types of insurances and such. You could do this by searching in your area first, or search on the World Wide Web. Asking to your family, friends or colleague is also effective. So, before jumping to the insurance company, be sure you are fully aware of the plans.

Updating My Blogs Regularly

Honestly, I wanted to update my blogs everyday, but that is really impossible for me at this time because I have my little darling little SAM who demands my time beyond any other else. She needs more attention than my blogging hobby. I could only open my computer if she is on bed already. During the day, it is hard for me to get a chance to visit my blogs not unless if she’s taking a nap. But she naps for just an hour merely or sometimes less than an hour, so I only have a very short time to blog in the daytime. In the evening, I set my time not to blog until midnight. And besides, hubby couldn’t sleep if the lights are still on, and if he hears the keyboard’s noise, he got annoyed too. So I have to turn off the lights and the computer before midnight. Probably, if Sarah is a little bigger, I could go back and update my blogs regularly.

Bathroom Makeover

Having a cozy bathroom is what everybody need. Fancy one is another thing to which it is better. Who don't need the latter? :-)

I have mentioned from my other blog that we need to make some makeover of our bathroom. Since we are going to have, it is better to have a fancy one. We will going to consult the apartment complex manager. I think it is not a big deal because we are going to shoulder most of the expenses.  We have been saving money for this project. And since we are planning for a big and fancy renovation, we then think of a fancy bathroom fixtures, which is not a problem. Speaking of its fixtures, I like the type of fixtures which are neat and easy to clean. Anyway, aside from bathroom fixtures and accessories, I also plan to renovate our kitchen faucet and sink so more savings then. :-) For sure, it is worth it. :-)

Family Matters

"Family is the basic unit of society." Have you ever heard of this quote? For sure, you do.Whatever place you are, this adage always apply. A family is very important. It is where child/ren mold his/her\/their attitude before goes to the community. It is always a proud of the parents of whatever their child/ren achieved once out in the community. It just mean that they discipline and mold such child/ren great.

Now, it is always a dream of a community that every family has a perfect image. But that only happens in movies.Yes, there is, but unfortunately some (if not most). There has always been a problem which some parent can't handle the problem which would lead into separation, divorce and the likes. It is unpleasant but there has to be some agreement if that happens which family/ies would need a dependable family lawyers to do the job of what is due to each other. Like for example a child custody, child access/support and the likes to which only lawyers has the ability and authorized to do such thing. It is indeed important to have agreed what is due to each other based upon the law.

To me, it is shameful feeling for a family but there's nothing one can do if they agreed to do such. Or if it is the best thing for the situation. Sad but one has to handle it. :-( Ooh well.
