Having a Stress-Free Wedding Preparation

Your wedding could be the most anticipated day in your life. But for your dream wedding to happen, all the necessary preparations have to be made. Wedding preparations can be such a stressful process which is why you need to be able to get all the help you can get. If you decide to personally take care of all the preparations, you have to at least have other people to assist you. It is extremely important that you have a list of everything that needs to be done. A list can help you stay organized and focused on the tasks that need to be attended to. It also helps you prioritize the things that need to be done first. Having a list also helps you monitor all your expenses and stay within your budget.

A lot of ideas and information are available on the internet that can help engaged couples decide on the different aspects of the wedding. There are various online stores that offer all the different products and services that are needed in a wedding. They can order customized wedding invitations, hire a photographer, a band and a caterer online. They can just browse through different websites and choose the products they like and which kind of services they want to avail of. They can even look for a suitable wedding and reception online. Your list may be revamped from time to time as you make some adjustments but as long as you make sure that every important aspects of your wedding are attended to, you will avoid getting overly stressed about the wedding. In that way, your plan will be put in a good place. You and your partner will be happy as well as your parents, friends, sponsors and everyone  who will attend will be happy too! How is that? What could be better than that!  Advance happy wedding then! Yey!

Promise Ring

"A promise should not made to be broken" , that is what I always hear and that should have to be! How many sweeties gave their sweethearts a promise? A promise that is going to be forever.

Yours truly have known a lot of boyfriend-girlfriend relationships that did not yet make moves to marriage. That does not mean that they don't want to. That also does not mean that a guy does not want to marry his girlfriend. It is just that it is not yet time or for some reason, cannot yet make its relationship into engagement yet though they promise each other that they will always be there and forever. Now a promise ring comes. Truly, a guy should know when to give a promise ring to his sweetheart. And that should be forever. No back-outs. In short, he has to make sure that he keeps what he says and what that ring symbolizes. Not just for that moment or just leading his girlfriend unto a dark path, an untrue assurance. She's always occupy the major space in your heart then. A place which her heart is always there, don't you think? I believe "what goes around, comes around " , so guys be careful in choosing timing especially the promise you gave to your sweetie! So then, all the best on your relationship! God speed!

A promise ring differs a lot to an engagement ring. When a guy gave his girlfriend an engagement that means, soon enough a marriage is going to happen whereas a promise ring does not mean anything about marriage, just a promise to be forever.

Ring (s)

Having a ring is a symbol of something. Well, that's the nature of it unless otherwise for some it is just an art. An art, a design, stuff to beautify. How do you like to have it or give to your beloved? For married folks, engaged or a tested and proven friends, seems like it is a must. I cannot imagine a married person having no marriage ring. An engage couple maybe, but not for a married man/woman. Having an artcarved ring(s) is a choice but there is really a person who sees it as special. Seems to me a personalized one or you can then tell a jeweler how do you like it to be personalized through carving. It is artsy!

What about you, do you like an artcarved ring from your spouse? For me, yes. I love to have it. Fortunately, my engagement ring has my initial names on it and my marriage ring carved. Indeed for choosing the two, I love it carved with a name(s) on it. :-)

Marriage, are you ready for marriage? How important is it to you as of this moment? You  might be thinking of a grand wedding soon enough. You and your girlfriend is planning for marriage for long. But before that happened, you are thinking of proposing her officially. Yes, an engagement thing! You maybe have already your engagement ring like that from scott kay engagement rings and already planned where you want to propose her. Where is it? Oops! Okay, it is a secret. :-) I just can remember the time my husband proposed to me with his dramatic kneeling moment. Ha! :-P Well, mostly would do that and I could not imagine if you won't! Good luck and enjoy the moment! :-)

My Mellow Yellow Monday: Yellow Flowers

My share of yellow today is a yellow flower. Pardon me as I do not know the name but what am sure is, it is yellow. Hehe! This yellow flower was with the bunch of flowers in a vase with the big red roses from my ever beloved valentine. It was actually over the red roses and its other stuffs formed into a cool arrangement.Yes, it was a gift from my hubby this year's valentines day (February 2011). It was a bud during valentines day but days after, it bloomed as what you saw. And it is awesome, big ones as bigger than the big roses. Beautiful and cool the eyes especially it was from my beloved. *wink*

As what you can see in the left image, it is the bloomed yellow flower from the right image which is at the top of the other flowers in a vase.

Indeed a happy valentines day for me! And a happy mellow yellow Monday to you! ;-)

Vacation Time

Once in a blue moon, oops! It is my choice anyway. It is just too bad that hubby cannot come with me this vacation due to his work. I am just lucky that he is okay for me to travel alone, that is how strong am I. I would not disappoint him anyway. I have to take good care of myself for him.

Now that am in Gingoog City (in Philippines), I took a little time for this. Even if it would not be published yet, for some reason, the important is it is here. That I take time to write which is what I like. I haven't took to my husband yet, hopefully tomorrow. Internet is not that good plus my siblings' sweetness and bonding. :-) I know my husband is kinda worried but I also know he will understand as jetlag and all that little time (15 days) need to manage to do what I wanted to do. This trip also intended to bond with my paternal side. Wish me luck, I mean wish I enjoy. Haha!

Tomorrow will be having a roasted pig and many more foods that I missed. Yey!

Excited?

Two days to go and I will be in a plane going to my birth country visiting my "used-to-be" place. I cannot wait to go swimming with my folks, the places, foods and all that I wanted to do, seeing the good o'le relatives (okay, including the not-so-good too. hahaha!). Oops, I did not mean anything, okay? Just having fun and maybe a bit excited already. Excited, did I mention excited? To tell you, yes am a bit excited now but I have to calm down and never to be but just make it as close to ordinary and focus on what to do and safety. So, in short I am not that so excited. ;-) I just wish you good day and hopefully you will still visit this homey home of mine here in the e-world. My DH cannot come but he let me, that is so nice of him. I would like to get this chance to thank him and that he appreciates  of what have to be appreciated. He has pile of work to and that he just have to manage it. He will just then get some hours in some days that he would like to be home early or has something to do, that is how he uses his leave in work. How nice and smart of him. I love him dearly and am showing it. He is not a showy type but a silent one. Meaning, you may have not seen he cares and loves me, but I do see it that is why he got me. Hehehe! Love you honey.. Back to the excited portion, yes am a bit excited. Not with the travel but to what it has planned. Happy, happy!

It's One Month Before "ber" Months Begin

This month, August, is one month before September. Hence, it is about time Christmas songs are on radios and for many places, Christmas decorations are about to hang especially Christmas lights like white led Christmas lights. When I was still in the Philippines, I am excited for September. I had colorful Christmas lights hanging in our not-fancy house but full of love. But of course white lead Xmas lights are great for a colorful Christmas tree, be it as fancy or opposite. I wonder if all of its lights were still functioning. Ooh well, I can still remember I put it up with my cousins (or my aunt in my paternal grandparents place, now her place which also I call "home") other with laughter and joys then after our simple decorations, we then gathered in front of television and sing-along. Hahaha! That was fun. I missed them. Now, I have my own home with my DH. First "ber" month is not yet a good time for putting up Xmas decors but of course a great time to start looking for that stashed decors and replace or buy new ones whichever are no good no more. Ooh Christmas, you're on the way! I wish to great you an advance merry Christmas but nope, not yet, I have to tell you soon enough. ;-) ~hugs&kisses~

Personalized Wedding Cake Topper

Cake toppers nowadays cannot be downgraded when it comes to the new improvement. Yes, before we can only see a pre-made wedding cake topper of a beautiful creation just only that it symbolizes the couple. But as I said nowadays the couples own images can be done as a wedding cake toppers! How cool is that? Yep, not only for birthdays but specially for weddings and other more occasions. That is how beauty and fashion evolve. And when you are too slow to pick-up, it could be a not-so-happy moment because you will regret why you couple did not ordered it which in fact it was way too known already, well, if you a couple likes to have some fashion and beauty for the wedding cake then this is it! ;-) It is way too cool! Congratulations in advance by the way for the marriage soon. :)

From DH for His Wife's Birthday

It was just a birthday card but a thought of what it writes on it and the time he managed to get select his choice of writings on it, is what counts. What do you think? (you can click images to enlarge, should you like to do so)

Does it makes sense to you when your DH do that? For myself, yes it does. It's a big YES. Some dear husband do not like giving cards when it is just for folks in the house, only to those who live far-away. Gifts make sense or a birthday cake, party and alike. It is because he do not want it for himself, that is.Time went by and he knew how I appreciate greeting card on special occasions. I give him even though he gave me request at the same a command that I need not to give him but I was stubborn (and still now) that every time there is special occasions or some times it is just an ordinary day as like important thank you, I gave such for him. Then, he gave up and gives back. :) I was and now happy! After all, it is just a card. The thought what count. ;-)
But who can resist with some bucks inside the greeting card and box of my favorite chocolate above? Can you? :) That natal day commemoration by the way was this year last May. Ooh yes, before he used to give me gift. But then that time he asked me what I want as a gift, I just answered "just give me money and I will just buy what I like" --- to save time and effort you know.. ;-) And the wish granted! Ha! It was nothing fancy but am happy. :) Have a great day folks! Happy birthday by the way to those who are celebrating their birthday. :-) ~hugs&kisses~

"I Love You" , What Is It?

Yep, how do you define it? Can you define it by your own words?

I got stuck with this word (I love you) when I was in high school when our teacher for a said subject just suddenly threw a question on us, her students, questioned if we could define love on our own words. Apparently, I didn't knew.. haha.. Yep, I can define it when looking at any quotes presented by famous or infamous ones but, can you? Alright, for some reason you can. Yes, you can. It is because you are already matured to what it is about. You already felt after it was being talked and presented unto you. That is why studying as to listening and being attentive as a passive is important. Ooh well, love.
Love for me is describe as to different kind and variety like from parents which is called parental love, fatherly love (paternal love), motherly love (maternal love), to your friends (friendly love), to your brother (brotherly love), sister (sisterly love), to your special someone to which we commonly describe it as just our love ;-), and what else? Yeah, there are many different kinds of love as again, to different variety of people. Tapping it up, it is just meant as giving one's heart to another person -- not literally, that is.

There are also many ways to express our love. Many reasons to celebrate it. Many occasions in a year we celebrate to show our love to one another. Oops, isn't it valentines day done? Yep that is just one of the worldwide known event though it is not declared as a legal holiday but is just important to the ones who celebrates and just felt in their heart, nothing fancy or some just for a thought about it, it does count. And so then, mother's day, your birthday, or any commemoration just yet done, and what comes next? Father's Day! Yes, Father's Day is coming up which is every 3rd Sunday of June. What will be your gift to your dad? Would you even just say "I Love You" ?

Anyway, since Father's Day is just one of the many occasions we celebrate love in our heart, let me just say "Happy Father's Day to all fathers" and to the ones celebrating! You guys rock {especially to the responsible ones ;-)} ! Your child/children is lucky to have you! For sure, he/she/they will say "I LOVE YOU" . Have a great day! ~hugs&kisses~

Letter That I'll Never Send #2: To My In-Laws

Dear my In-Laws,

I would like to thank you for raising a good responsible son. You have raised him in a well-mannered way and am grateful for that. Though I haven't met you, I am sure that you are in a good condition there at God's hands. As heard from your son's stories, I can tell how you love him with all your heart and how great good parents you are. You are both cool and responsible as well. Your baby book that you have written as a diary book of my husband (your son) from the day he was born until the day he was in his own memories, I can tell he really treasured it and love you so much too. And also the little spoon and fork story he shared to me that he stashed it because it was given by you and let it be treasured was an amazing one. Though the fork was misplaced but the cute little spoon was still here in fact, he gave it to me to keep it and put in a treasured place. That was cute and sweet of him, thank you for it. I also seen the pictures of the two of you. I cannot forget those especially the one that you are wearing your nurse uniform and cap and to you FIL, the one that you are holding a very big fish that you caught. Also the pictures of the two of you while you were attending FIL city councilor's meeting and the other images were taken as FIL was having his speech and having a conversation with his fellow officials, those were adorable. You were also taken while you guys were on the table eating and laughing. Those were such black and white big images (some are colored too) but the quality of pictures are cool because those are still here intact without any chips and any discoloration and such. By the way, your house is cool and I can tell you MIL is really great in keeping your house clean and orderly. I adored MIL because she kept the house like that even if she was working then. DH told me also the fountain you had in your house which he liked to play and just had her moment near on it. :-) I remembered he (my husband) told me how strict (but cool and fun) FIL was but that is normal and DH realized how important it is in household so everyone will be in order. I am grateful on you and forever respect the two of you.

Love,
Your DIL

Neck Ties for Him

my husband in half {without his head and hands} wearing a neck tie

Do your husband wear neck tie? Is your wife wears one? The latter question seems appear once in a blue moon if you can see women/wives in work or in occasions wear neckties but men do. I guess most men do wear tie in special occasions and formal business meetings or gatherings. Some also buy it as a gift. My husband is one of the peeps that mens ties is one their need pairs to their work suits. DH does wear neck tie going work and almost all of his working days {he works from Monday to Thursday starting seven in the morning up to six o'clock in the evening of forty hours every week} on his working days since he works an indoor job. He has several neck ties hang in a tie rack but he is still planning to buy more along with working long sleeves suit for an upgrade of his clothings.. :-) And I could not agree more because he deserves it and I like a lot of cool neck tie for him. What about you, do you like to buy your husband neck ties? Are you particular with the style, color and such to pair with its suit?

An Allergy Relief

Hello folks, how is everybody? I hope everything went well especially that it is winter time here in USA (49 states have is snowing) and on the other world too while in the Philippines there is an El Nino issue which some of the places especially in Mindanao areas have rotating brownouts. In times like this, flu and others alike is most likely the common problem. And it is great to be at house always except when going to work yet allergy in the house usually cause by dust, pollen, and some stuffs which folks at home too. Well, it is not that a problem because allergy relief is in the rescue. I like the fact how professionals or scientists created such this stuff to be able us to combat allergy in our day to day encounter. Thanks to the folks for this. With such, we have the choices how to fight the allergy we got. I hope to have an air cleaner or air filter in the house. I will save for this. This is so important for me and my husband. So then, keep going... and enjoy winter time.. :-)

Having a Life Insurance

Life is what we make it. We do a lot to make it worthwhile but it is too inevitable . Though we can avoid the future disgrace and some difficulties that will occur eventually but we cannot deny that we are just temporary here on earth. Well, if I have some excess budget, for me I would like myself to have a life insurance so my love ones (partner in life/husband or my own family) will not suffer if something happen that only God knows when. Getting life insurance quotes, is a good way in determining what price range to get and even get a great deal to which one would I like to have of such service entitled to. I just really hope that I can reach the desired old age I want to be here on earth to be with my love ones and have a peaceful smooth way of living while am still here. God knows and ooh please God forbid! I am not yet ready for now {long way to go yet}. :-o

Valentines Tag

I was tagged before Valentines Day by my new found Manang here in blogland in courtesy of Dhemz and the gang... (~_~)---and no other than Manang Rose who is energetic, smart, intelligent, and full of love wife and a momma. Thanks Manang Rose.. and here it is:

Here are some simple mechanics:
1. Post this tag in your blog (multiple blogs allowed) with these mechanics.
2. Don’t forget to use the widget above linking to the
site.
3. Post a photo of anything that has the color red.
4. Include also a saying or quote related to LOVE or the LOVE MONTH.
5. Tag as many as you can and instruct them to get back to
Arlene's site to leave their url if they have joined.

~

A definition of love from the movie Captain Corelli's Mandolin:
"Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two."
-St. Augustine
The above image is what you will find if you happen to sneak in front of our bedroom---cards, balloons and flowers (which is not in the image for that photo but now you can see it two longs talks with red flowers on it).

This was taken last valentines 2008 with the stuffs which I put at the top of our bedroom mirror and until there's still it, the chocolates were eaten already... :-)

This was my (w/DH of course) valentines last year (2009) and the present valentines was in my Ruby Tuesday latest entry

~How was your valentines day by the way? Mine, was pretty good we spent our day shopping... lol... Keep the love burning! Sorry for the late post Manang Rose.. heheheh.. :-)~

A Romantic Bubble Bath

How do you like to have a bubble bath? Do you want a romantic setting in a bath tub with your special someone? How to do it?

Though valentines day passed already yet, it does not mean that we end up also being sweet and romantic. Valentines Day is just a special day for it but romantic partners, everyday is valentines day. Now, being a romantic in having preparing a bubble bath for your partner the way he/she likes it or somewhat like you like each other is exceptional awesome work for a great time together which some makes it an unforgettable moment or perhaps a first romantic bubble bath. For me, my idea of having a romantic bathroom setting is a great shower trays basically so I/we can have a romantic bubble bath prepared by my partner/me surprisingly. Perhaps having a research secretly to what I/he like to have. For that, I like it that all electric lights have turn-off to which only scented candles are lighted, then scented bath soap bubbles with matching bath oil. To add with that with an arrange bathroom with fruits, or any healthy snacks beside the bubble bath tub with martinelli and two glasses for us. To add the romanticism, beautiful soothing sounds of nature like morning in the mountains or ocean shore, time less songs also will do like "Stuck On You", "Wonderful Tonight", or "Tonight I Celebrate My Love" unending sounds of music should be in a setting. Oops not to forget the roses flower petals should have already spread all over the tub before the candles lighted up (or turned all the electricity) to start the romantic visibly lit candles on. And let us see if he do not like my idea of having such one. :-) I hope my partner/we will have fun the way it should be. *winkz* Enjoy!
