Happy 6th Years Wedding Anniversary!

A couple dear to my heart is celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary this day. I want to greet them a happy, harmonious togetherness, and as sweet as a wine that the longer it stays in a barrel, the greater the taste it has. They may not be the best and perfect couple of what others may think, but because of togetherness as a couple, is what counts. I believe that when " a couple/family stays together, that couple forever " --- I hope so! God bless them.

They may not be having a fancy celebration but I think the togetherness on their very wedding day commemoration is what counts. Whatever they have in mind, I wish them granted. All I can say is great job for them. For six years of just being themselves (with no family near to give advices or so), they manage to overcome the obstacles came their way and hopefully, faithfully in the coming trials that are still coming. God is good, HE won't leave anyone that believe in HIM. Just keep holding on, until then.

And so, Happy, Happy 6th Wedding Anniversary! God bless their marriage!

Chinese New Year is Coming

A few weeks from now, the Chinese people will be celebrating a Chinese New Year. This is the most important holiday for the Chinese people. It has been known in China as Spring Festival. For this year, they will be celebrating Spring Festival on Februay 10, 2013. Do you know that they also have beliefs when celebrating or welcoming a New Year? Before the New Year comes, the Chinese people will have a thorough home cleaning because they believe that sweeping the floors on New Year’s Day; you might sweep away the year’s good fortune. As much as possible, every household must give an extra care of the things that can be broken like dishes, glasses, mirrors, to name a few because the sharp object of these things when it is broken will bring them an unlucky year. And if Filipinos are so noisy when celebrating a New Year, the Chinese people are the noisiest because for them, making noise make the bad omen go away, so the louder, the better.

Searching for Birthdays Gifts

To give a memorable gift to your love ones, you don’t have to spend a lot. You can simply personalize what you give so the recipients feel how much you care. If you are energetic to scout around either at the mall or online store, I am certain that you could find a perfect gift for your love ones without spending a lot of money. If you are giving a birthday gift to a kid, you could make a personalized picture and write adjectives for each letter of a child’s name. For example: Sarah – S is for Sweet, A is for adorable, R is for Regal. A is for Amazing, and H is for Honest. However, if you don’t have time to create a personalize birthday gift, you can go to the World Wide Web and search for creative birthday gift ideas by age. In this way, you don’t need to give an extra time to create gift ideas that the recipient would surely love. But if the budget for gift is not an issue, then you could easily find a perfect gift for your love ones.

Anyway, a few weeks from now, a friend will be celebrating her birthday, and searching for birthday presents for her is effortless for she is not a materialistic woman. She is a very simple woman, and even just a simple birthday card with a heartwarming message would mean a lot to her. Honestly, I have not tried to look for a gift for her yet, because as I have mentioned above, it is not hard to look for a gift for her. I would probably do it on one of these days.

Using an Innovative App for Your Wedding Photos

A wedding is an important event not just to the couple but also to their family and friends. It is a joyous occasion that can be best immortalized through the wonderful wedding photos that everyone can browse through whenever they want to remember that very important day. Wedding photography is one of the most important aspects of preparing for a wedding. The couple has to make sure that they will have photographs that capture the images and the emotions of that day. In most instances, couples hire a professional photographer that will be in charged on taking all the important photos.

But do you know that there is a Wedding Photo app that has been developed that collects all the photos that your guests have taken on their smartphone into one place. It’s like having dozens of photographers for your wedding! You will have photos in every angle and in different perspectives. Sorting through all the photos will not be difficult since they are all in one place. Wedding albums can be made to organize all the photos for easy reference. These photos can be viewed by friends and family members and even those who weren’t able to attend the wedding ceremony. They can comment on the photos and send their well wishes to the bride and groom. Not only that, you and your friends can download high resolution copies of the original photos. You can also have them printed either as photographs or cards and your orders will be delivered to you. You can even choose to send e-cards using the photographs that you want. It is through innovative wedding apps such as this that special events such as weddings that photos are managed, shared and viewed conveniently not just by the couple but by the people close to them.

May is Coming

Yep,  next week is already May. This means the fifth month of the year is just around the corner waiting to be in the limelight whatever place you are. What is that mean? There are a lot of meaning of that actually. But the highlight is it will be my birthday soon. Ha! Can I ask an advance gift? Ha ha! Just kidding of the latter. Yes, I will be one more year older but closer to God. It is just an age you know. I believe that "age doesn't matter, as long as you doesn't matter". Enjoy life and that's what important. Enjoying it responsibly. The great thing for me is, living it day to day as it is my last. Yep! And again, enjoy responsibly and everything will be alright. We won't have to be so serious, after all no one would get out here alive. Ha! God is the owner of our life. Life is His gift to us and what we become is our gift to Him, so be grateful and aim high so He will be happy and proud!

Alright, speaking of my birthday soon, let us see who will great me first. Smile. :-) By the way, don't ever ask me of my age as I am declaring myself as Forever 25 Years Old! Period! ;-)

Having a Stress-Free Wedding Preparation

Your wedding could be the most anticipated day in your life. But for your dream wedding to happen, all the necessary preparations have to be made. Wedding preparations can be such a stressful process which is why you need to be able to get all the help you can get. If you decide to personally take care of all the preparations, you have to at least have other people to assist you. It is extremely important that you have a list of everything that needs to be done. A list can help you stay organized and focused on the tasks that need to be attended to. It also helps you prioritize the things that need to be done first. Having a list also helps you monitor all your expenses and stay within your budget.

A lot of ideas and information are available on the internet that can help engaged couples decide on the different aspects of the wedding. There are various online stores that offer all the different products and services that are needed in a wedding. They can order customized wedding invitations, hire a photographer, a band and a caterer online. They can just browse through different websites and choose the products they like and which kind of services they want to avail of. They can even look for a suitable wedding and reception online. Your list may be revamped from time to time as you make some adjustments but as long as you make sure that every important aspects of your wedding are attended to, you will avoid getting overly stressed about the wedding. In that way, your plan will be put in a good place. You and your partner will be happy as well as your parents, friends, sponsors and everyone  who will attend will be happy too! How is that? What could be better than that!  Advance happy wedding then! Yey!

April Fools Day

It's not April yet, I know. But I am greeting you in advance a "Happy April Fools Day!". It is great of doing it in advance and remind you that April 1st is fooling day. So beware of that! Or else, you will be "out-of-place" or OP as you don't know or remember such. It is nice to remember even just little things. We may not know little things matter and possible to get high, don't you think?

Now, I warned you of a fooling day, two days from now, okay?

I don't know the history of this but one thing is for sure I would love to research why, would like to know how it began. For now, I just want to share this info for you.

Happy April Fools Day in advance for April 1st!

Happy Saint Patrick Day!

Since most folks already greet, happy Saint Patrick' Day, I also want to greet you the same thing " Happy Saint Patrick's Day!". I am not an Irish but I believe it is not a bump on my face to like wearing green of Saint Patrick's commemoration day. Or if not in green, you will be pinched! Ooh yeah! :-) Or have something that has a clover on it, or just simply celebrating the day with Heineken on-hand or with drinks. :-) Which of this you did? Or nothing? Worry not, simply wait for the next year's St. Patty's event like this. :-)

Have a great one all! :-)

Daylight Savings Time Begin Today!

Year 2012, date: March 11, 2012 marks the DST of the year (I have to thank Raquel Olayer for her shout-out/update in FB about this, then I got a chance to research and yeah, it's right). If you are in United States of America or know and updated about here, you are familiar of what I said. Yes, Daylight Savings Time {Pacific Time has now changed from Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) to Pacific Savings Time (PDT) } occurs anytime day in the first quarter of the year. And so now is the day of this year. Most big phone companies like ATT update its phone time automatically. When your line is on this/such company, no need to move your clocks and watches plus one (so instead of 5:00, it would have to be moved to 6:00). But if it's manual then you need to do it by yourself, as from the word "manual" it must be understood.

Americans, inhabitants (just like me) and alike may not know the history of this but one is for sure, it is already a norm here in USA so have to follow it. For myself, I got a little knowledge (good thing there is a little. :-P) about it, nothing matters anyway but just have to move clocks and watches to an hour so I won't be late with an appointment and others.

Happy DST Day! ;-)

It's Another Day!

Another day had gone! I still can remember I was in the store and I bought a shoes for me! I got it on sale. Luckily I did not find hard time to find my shoe size this time! As I always struggle finding the right size for me. Window shopping is my addiction when I got time! To relieve stress too. So, I decided to visit my favorite shoe store (that time) and there they have lots of sale and promos. Lucky day for me! The shoes costed 10 USD what a good buy! I can use it everyday in summer time. I bought one for my my husband too. Oh my speaking of Christmas I need to save money for that. Time for gifts giving. Last Christmas we did, my husband and I decided to give presents to ourselves. And we have our little angel so it's already three of us. :-) So it is time to save as early as now!

Well, are you ready for Christmas? I am excited actually. This is our first Christmas in this little place we have, with our Baby Sam too. So by GOD's grace will be celebrating our Christmas day with our dear angel baby. I am looking forward for that.

Halloween is On The Way!

Halloween is just around the corner and once again and the kids will be invited to a Halloween party a classmate’s house and are in dire need of something scary or creative to wear that I bet moms will be very busy looking for costumes for their little ones, who are also scheduled to join this year’s Trick or Treat at school or in the village. Moms might be spending their time browsing online catalogue shops or thumbing though their parenting magazine subscriptions in search for an inspiration (just like a mom friend of mine did the other day). They might even be the creative type and are sewing the day away as they excitedly count down for the big day to come! Whatever costumes you might come up with, or might end up purchasing, just make sure the little ones will be comfortable enough to go around in it so they can enjoy the occasion as much as they can.

Get Well Gifts

It is great to know that there people who are thoughtful. Thoughtful people won't forget occasions. They do send gifts or greet you in such occasions (special or just ordinary). They think a lot (okay that is why full of thoughts = thoughtful *wink*), oops just the right kind of thinking for their beloved friends and family. I adore those folks, who don't? Aren't you be pleased when you are sick and he/she/they send you a get-well gift like chocolate favored get well gift on such moment? Of course you love chocolates and I love too! :-) Remembering such times like such is something you couldn't forget. He/she/they are there when you needed them most. Giving something (even just a get-well soon presence, but of course it's nice to have something in-hand to give in) to a person who's been sick makes a difference. You would be loved if you do.

4th of July (USA Independence Day)

How was your 4th of July (or USA Independence Day/ Philippines-American Friendship Day) yesterday? I bet you had a great time. Mine was great. DH and I was just at home having a movie marathon. Then at night went outside to see fireworks display. Nope, we didn't went out to park where people were but a few walks outside here in the apartment complex. We didn't went to Almansor Park (where a lot of  fireworks display fired from government here in the place I and DH resides) because of the crowd, my tummy could be bumped then aside from that the smell of the after-fired fireworks isn't good for me as being pregnant. That was why we just watched afar. Even with that, I still saw beautifully made fired fireworks! It was amazing! Colorful, soundly ones, flied-high and much more. Ah, what a celebration/commemoration of an Independence Day how many decades ago which USA got. Yesterday indeed is a national holiday which means no work or for private ones, triple pay for them if they work of such day. Meaning, it is merely a day of a precious and should be fun one. It's a happy thought and a happy celebration indeed! How was yours?

DigiCam and Camcorder

It seems like digital camera and camcorder are two of a family's need when it comes to vacation, strolling around the places, or just messing-up in our yards. :-) But for me, appareils photo numériques is more of an in-demand than the latter. Well, we even like to have it in our everyday activities especially the treasured happenings. We like to have a remembrance in every of those moments that we love, don't you agree with me? *wink* That is to think that we have it every time we like to think and remember back the ole days. Ooh well, DH even called me camera whore! Ha! And I love that name. ;-) It just tells that am having a good time or am in the good mood (or even in bad times). Ooh well. :-P For sure you like having camera, expensive or not as long as it holds memories then am good to go, I love it! :-) What about you, are you fond of keeping memories by a camera?

Happy Mother's Day!

I just wanna greet a " Happy Mother's Day " to all mommies, mommies-to-be, and also to those women who have adopted kid(s)! Yep, I have to include women who are called " mother " even though they did not deliver a baby from their own body but because they love their kid(s) just like a mother. They are included in the word " mother/mommy " for me. I do not know about you but that is what my perception. :-) I also believe such person(s) is worthy of such word than those who just deliver a baby but do not love the baby at all. Kodus to you all of you mothers! May your genes spread the universe, that many are still like who and how you care your kid(s)! :-) God bless!

Preparing Food No Hassle

When there is a big occasion of a family or a part of a family like birthday, graduation and alike, most likely it is such a tiring job of preparing/cooking the foods aside from preparing the place. But here in USA, preparing food is just a piece of cake since catering and restaurant delivery is just a phone call away and in the scheduled event, the foods are there as early as a bird. Now, is it tiring? Is it time-hassle? No way! I just cannot imagine if the host will also be the one to cook all the cuisines unless if it's a big family or such family is hiring a cook then it would be possible. :-) But knowing folks here are also busy working, I could say it is very much convenient to have catering/delivery of foods than home-made cooking, maybe just a house specialty it would do, isn't it? What do you think?

Happy Valentines Day!

It maybe late already in other part of the world to greet you a "Happy Valentines Day" but here in the world/place where I live is still February 14. Sorry for the late greeting if it happened you live in the place where it is already 15th. Whatever it is, I know you guys, friends, ladies and gentlemen celebrate it. It may not be expensive but the romantic thought or actions, is what counts. Otherwise, one really do not know what Hearts' Day mean. :-) And so what did you do by the way? How did you celebrate it?

As for me and my DH, we just celebrate it at home. Had a romantic dinner. Spaghetti with meatballs on him and I had rice and beef soup with a roasted breast turkey with drinks, not wine though. :-) On the afternoon, I was surprised he went home just to hand me the flowers (I so love the big red roses with stuffs) in a vase (ooh I love the vase, I won't put it by myself anymore, LOL! and it's color is so perfect to me) which is all I want for this Hearts' Day. I then managed to get a balloons with a tag "happy valentines day" and "i love you", two big heart chocolates in package, and one in a square box with a valentines card for him though I was late for few minutes. He came home before me. Waaaahhh! The ending, he likes it which made me feel happy too! :-) My efforts of walking fast was relieved and worth it (though as I said I was late of few minutes as he arrived home before me).

And so, I/we had a great valentines day! It's the thought the counts. Have a great one!
