My MYM #12: Yellow Dress and Yellow Stuffs

Today, Monday (May 31st), is the day we observed Memorial Day here in United States of A. It is holiday, meaning no work and for some private workers who still work on this day would have
two days work count instead of one. Anyway, while some are celebrating this day outside, that would also mean chasing a lot of yellow stuffs like me though mine was taken past days ago. Am here by the way for mellow yellow entry during Mondays. And below are my three images you may like to look (though there's a lot of same stuffs of just simply differs from each other as well). You can click images should you like it in large views.

Image #1: Yellow dress, etc
Image #2: Just farther from image #1 though there are some additional ;-)

Image #3: Closer look with moi face.. ha! (Can you see the difference with image #1 and this image as #3? What the difference? :)
Could you get some yellows above? As again, you can enlarge it as your choice. That was the time of some of my yellow moments. Some of my yellow birthday scenes. Haha! I just realize that I had a lot of yellow that day. I wonder why?. :) So then, have a great Monday folks! And as always enjoy your day most especially that we are commemorating this day as respecting, adoring and honoring soldiers who gave their lives just to have this country and our freedom. What we have now, we owed it to them so let us give them a round of applause...(applause).. Bravo! Soldiers rock!

Today is Ephipany(3Kings) Day!

What date you usually taken down your Christmas decorations? Do you believe that Christmas decorations should be taken down on the Epiphany or Three Kings Day which is today(Jan 6)? Yes, today is Epiphany Day. This is the day commemorating the 12 days after Christmas to when the Biblical Magi (Kings from foreign country{East} visited Jesus at Bethlehem) showed up and gave their royal gifts (frankincense, myrrh, and gold) to Jesus. And so counting from December 25 (the birth of Jesus) until the fifth of January is the 12 days after Christmas. Then on the sixth is the celebration commemorating the arrival date of the Three Kings(The Wise Men). The Three Kings by the way were: Kings Caspar, Melchoir, and Balthasar.

And so the Christmas decorations for me as I believed from many beliefs, I stick to the belief that it is on the 5th day of January or before the Epiphany Day. It is believed that you will not take it down before the 5th because that's the days commemorating the Kings were on their way to Jesus birthplace, they got lost without the star lights. It is then a belief that if ever you forgot to take it down on that day, it should have to be hanged until the 4oth day after December 25th. Some will take it down until Ash Wednesday or live it the whole year round. What about you, did you taken down your X'mas decors yet?.. Happy Epiphany or Three Kings Day folks!

I Commemorate My Grandpa's Death

My "Papa Pesyong" is my grandfather on the side of my mother was the one who raised me while I was young. I was at him together with my step grandmother with her grandson I called "Manoy Sonny" who was in Cebu City now together with his family of five. He was so good to me and defended me everytime. I watched my actions and perhaps that's what he seen on me so he defended me. I was good you know.. :-).. kidding aside but am serious.. Until it was 2003 December 30 (Philippines National Hero--Dr. Jose Rizal's death date anniversary too), I got a call that he was conscious and hours later was in God's hand in other part of life. I cried and cried, that's also the time that I don't have money yet due to bad circumstances of the bad people which I don't want to tell here or else I would be told was writing "hateful words". Anyhow, I got paid one day after and was there. I got depressed that time because he's the reason why I went far to continue my education. I haven't even told him how I love him dearly, he's the most important person in my life before my husband came. :-) Well, I owe him a lot. And so everytime his death anniversary, I offer a prayer and set aside some money(even just a little) in commemoration of him. To my lolo I hope you're reading this from up above. You are very nice person and I love you dearly. One thing I would like to impart to you folks (unsolicited advise) that tell and show to the person how you love him/her/they while he/she/them can still hear and see you here in this life we have.

Condolence ToThe Family of My Aunt-Cousin

In Memory of my aunt-cousin Mrs. Rutchie Flores-Tagotongan and something (it's something because I forgot her married name) a.k.a. Gang2x. She died November 15 by dengue. She and my mother is a first degree cousin because her mother and my grandfather(mother side) are siblings. I call her aunt-cousin because we're just few years of our age gap, perhaps two or 3 years. Anyway, I felt sorry for her because as I said she's just few years older than me. We're not that close though but our family are close with each other. Condolence to her son who is just three or four years old.

I got this news two days from a friend and cousin of mine. Her remain was in the house of her parents in Magting, Mambajao, Camiguin Province. It has been said that they will put her remain back unto where we came from (soil) this coming November 26 -- PI time probably afternoon. Her brother who is a seaman is what the family is waiting of. Uncle Ronie will arrive sometime next week. Condolence. Whoever knew her, just perhaps say a little prayer for condolence. She will remain in our hearts and I know she's in good hands now. Farewell Te Rutchie!

What Do You Think about Life Insurance?

Is it cool or uncool? What do you think about life insurance folks? Does it need to have a great deal of life insurance rate as to the rate of your life if ever something will happen? Ahhh.. perhaps.. I don't want to think about this.. this is simply out of my thing for now. I don't think this is a good time to plan for my life insurance. Ah, perhaps it's good for my love ones. But for you, if you want to have it, okay go and get the best rate. I know it's good for the family as well. I just hope for the best. And I guess everyone is hoping the best for you and your family too, so just take care as always! Keep the love burning while we're still here! Eh?...

Happy Columbus Day!

Happy Columbus Day to the folks in United States in America. Today October 12(actually every second Monday of October every year), is the Columbus Day. I do not know why this has been celebrated and how to celebrate this day except that it's just a happy day since my husband don't have a work (~_~). Well, it was being declared as a legal holiday so it's alright. According to the history, Christopher Columbus is the discoverer of the Americas. More of my info is from Wikipedia. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving as well to the people of Canada. Cheers!
