Look Beyond the Label

Do you have a favorite place to shop? When you shop, do you have time to read the label? I guess, we should not overlook this very important note on each product to avoid allergens. Natural and organic labels are everywhere on personal care products, from face cleaners to face masks and everything in between. But the labels may not tell the whole story. Products that are used in natural skin care usually include botanical extracts and essential oils, but that doesn’t mean all the ingredients are natural.

Products that are labeled as hypoallergenic may still cause allergic reactions. Labels such as hypoallergenic and allergy tested are up to the manufacturer’s discretion and don’t have to meet specific regulatory criteria. It’s up to consumers to determine what’s really hypoallergenic. Finding the perfect products may take trial and error. If you have a particular concern, such as reddish or very sensitive skin, go to the doctor or dermatologist though most of the time this information is available on the Websites, providing recommendations based on skin type. But you know, it is still best to consult your dermatologist if you have doubt on it.

And so, have a great day everyone! Thanks for dropping-by, come back often. :)

Basic Horse Care

Looking after a horse can be time consuming and also expensive. Whilst there is not much you can do about how much of your time it takes up, short of hiring staff to look after them, you can keep costs down by searching for best prices both online and in stores. Many online sites have online tack shops that sell most the necessary pieces of equipment needed. Online stores often offer free delivery if you spend over certain amounts and given how large a lot of horse equipment is, for example horse rugs will easily take up the boot of your car, having a lot of items delivered will work out much easier for you. A lot of online stores offer a whole range of items including horse feeds so if you shop carefully you can buy all your items online at once.

Items that you will need to get include:

A head collar, without one of these you will not be able to lead your horse about and move them from field to stable. You will also need a lead rope to attach to the head collar and to use if you tie the horse in a yard for when you are grooming.

A bridle, saddle and saddle blanket is needed for riding a horse. You will also require a hard hat, riding boots and appropriate protective clothes.

You will need warm and waterproof rugs for different seasons. The type of rug you get depends on the environment that your horse is in. It is important to ensure that the rug is the correct size and Viovet has a handy measuring guide you can use to ensure you fit your horse correctly.

To keep your horse looking nice you will need a grooming kit containing a hoof pick, appropriate brushes for both the horses coat and mane and a brush to remove mud.

You will also need a feed bin and water container. If your horse is a bit kicky it is worth putting the water bucket in a tyre which you can weight down or nail into the ground for stability.

If you are in a shared stable you might have access to wheelbarrow, spade, pitch fork and broom but if not you will need these items for mucking out the stable and clearing the fields.
Ensure you get a good quality food and any necessary supplements that your horse might need. Keep them up to date with worm treatment as well.

(Thanks for the guest post Matt)

It's Another Day!

Another day had gone! I still can remember I was in the store and I bought a shoes for me! I got it on sale. Luckily I did not find hard time to find my shoe size this time! As I always struggle finding the right size for me. Window shopping is my addiction when I got time! To relieve stress too. So, I decided to visit my favorite shoe store (that time) and there they have lots of sale and promos. Lucky day for me! The shoes costed 10 USD what a good buy! I can use it everyday in summer time. I bought one for my my husband too. Oh my speaking of Christmas I need to save money for that. Time for gifts giving. Last Christmas we did, my husband and I decided to give presents to ourselves. And we have our little angel so it's already three of us. :-) So it is time to save as early as now!

Well, are you ready for Christmas? I am excited actually. This is our first Christmas in this little place we have, with our Baby Sam too. So by GOD's grace will be celebrating our Christmas day with our dear angel baby. I am looking forward for that.

Stock-Up for Christmas Stocking

Am not telling you to stock-up now or never (of course, who am I by the way to tell such thing). Just a thought. But mind you, any place you are, it is great to buy little by little unlike the other way around, the lump-sum way of shopping though I do that sometimes especially if am already on the 11th hour or don't have budget yet. :-) Well, stocking stuffer for christmas stocking early isn't bad at all. One more day and it will be August month. Then comes September, the first "ber" month of the year. What comes next? It will be December then, in no time. When it is already a good deal and we have a little budget for it, then go and get it! Or else, we will regret afterwards. Perhaps that deal would no longer be available then or no budget anymore for such. Don't you think? It is your choice!

My New Comfort Shoes, Reebok

Pregnant women should have flat comfort shoes and I am one of those. I was longing for my white Hilfiger sport shoes to have it replaced and this time I did it. I actually bought this pair of shoes about a month ago. I met the white Reebok which is good when am doing my exercise, walking. It's not that so light compared to my old Hilfiger but it's as comfortable as it is. I just like its face. Ha! Oops it's quality I mean. It comforts me when I need it most. :-) Now I have my new reliable white shoes for my walking thing.

It doesn't give me problem on my feet so far, thanks goodness! :-)

A Perk of Having Credit Card

When we think of credit card, we think of credit. As in credit (money-out) from our pocket or savings, a loan or a debt. And talking about debt, it is only seldom you can lend money without interest and that is what credit card is all about. Much interest if cannot pay on the desired time to pay-off such money being lend in exchange of goods or services. But lo and behold because there are also many perks of having a credit card. I would not elaborate the many perks, what I can only say (as my title tells) is having a rewards. Yes, credit card holder will be rewarded through points which is from purchases incurred. One of these credit card which give rewards, is visa reward cards and of course many more kinds/names of credit cards but all of them issues rewards. Doesn't it sound great? Well, that is what we called a perk, just one of those perks. :-) But you know that a credit card holder can be in a big trouble if using his/her credit card(s) is beyond to what he/she can pay. So take good care of your credit card as well as enjoy your rewards of having such (especially if you're a good payor). :-))

Ordered Aerospotale Tops

It was on sale. You know this brand isn't cheap. I seldom buy stuffs which are not on sale. Why buy those on expensive if you can have it for less?

It has been long time I wasn't able to buy something for myself. I have to reward myself. And besides, DH gave me some for it and this time, I won't put it on someone (family matters, oops I got a break and I deserve it! Peace! ;-P) but a reward, again for myself. I may have NO lotta money but thankful for the graces that I am not empty. Thanks goodness, I have something in times of stressful moment. Hahaha! Or maybe, next time, I won't have any, so grab the opportunity. Hahaha! Oops! Don't be jealous! Am expecting it this week. Woot.. woot.. :-)

Ah! Sorry to others but this time (especially to the jealous peeps *bleeh*) I have to give something for myself. Have a great day!

Saved by the Ring

Mobile phone ring, that is. I was saved by the ring of not buying the whole dress(black and lavender color, classy as I think), white sweatshirt, black and lavender striped t-shirt (so love its color and style) and another piece of shirt which I was about to buy. That is for sure if my Dear Husband did not called me that he will be home in ten minutes (to get something which I have to hand it to him outside so he can save time). I was actually told hours before but I went to the store to buy necessity and passed-by at the dress store and so there I was about to be tempted (actually tempted but was saved). DH by the way gave me something to buy but I rather want to save it for the next time around. Okay, my purpose of been there was to buy a coat or a bonnet for DH but because it was in ground floor and the first thing I saw after the entrance was the women's clothes, I was then there. :( And so after DH and I's conversation, I just hurriedly walked back home leaving such about-to-bought stuffs. Sigh but had to. At home, I was relieved thinking of what I was about to buy. And then said unto myself "saved by the ring!" Ha!

Do you had this scenario as I did? How do you feel about it?

Using Coupons to Save

I love coupons, everybody does, don't you? ;-) It is really great when shopping with something we can also have it less. Yes, coupons does wonders. Even if sometimes it is just cents or pennies but when we count it all the way much after checking out, we can see the difference. Am a frugal yet a savvy shopper, so am so in favor of using coupons. What about you? Whatever it is, I just wish you all the best and can get what you wanted to get!

Preparing for Winter

When one say it is winter, it also means cold or snow. I guess California has the best weather around USA and Californians must be thankful for that and fire should have been taken an eye so it will not harm people. Because of the cold or rainy season (at some few states), there are many eye-ing  or wanted to get winter boots, it would be like neos overshoes that should have waterproof and can be trusted in terms of ruggedly moments. It should have to be tough and has a material character to go on. The key is select the best one? Hopefully!

How's Your Halloween Outfit?

Not only children does Halloween party but adults too, so it is just fair. Hehehe! There are many cute, beautiful and handsome children who can have their halloween costumes and looks what they wanted to be looked at. Am pretty sure everyone can get it which is either one will use it directly or stash and use it on the next Halloween party. I haven't been into this big event even until now. ;-)

Online Shopping

How do you like shopping online? If you like shopping online, you will also love Cyber Monday event which I think you already know that it comes after Black Friday (which happen on the first Friday after USA Thanksgiving Day) and you may get more than what you can get during Black Friday. As much as I would like to, but it is sad to say I am not around that time and budget is tight because of some future purposes. It may not be big enough but it pays when it waits. ;-) Ooh well, maybe DH has something he likes and some just more than important stuffs. Happy Cyber Monday shopping then!

Dog Pet

My paternal sister and brothers love dogs. They like to take good care of them. I can tell they would also love to pamper dogs by giving them dog beds and other luxury dog stuffs. For me, that is the least I will buy, ooh well, I am not that a dog-lover but I am not dog-hater either. It is just that for me, people deserves more attention than dogs. Aright, if folks cannot be controlled, it is better to have dogs! Hahaha! Okay, that is a bit of metaphor and a somewhat like close to fact. Aww.. hehehe! The trick is, once a person have a pet, he/she must be responsible for it or better to give it to others interested and can afford their needs or some wants. :-)

It's Raining!

Lately it was raining here in my place (one of the cities in LA County) to which my DH and I live. I can just imagined how Philippines is always have like such. And a friend of mine in Texas (some part of Texas, if not all) told me it's been also raining there just like Philippines climate, now she kinda won't miss our birth place that much when it comes to raining. :-) I can tell she or any person having such climate (rainy) would love to have rain boots to safeguard their feet every time rain fells down. It is safer having rain boots to combat from flowing water aside from coldness. I would like to have one too for rainy days.

Feeling Good

There are sometimes when a person feels something empty or alike. Just some low moment. And one of my solution for that is retail therapy or shopping! Hahaha! Nope, I do not shop a lot just as one can impulse as ever be. I think and plan before I act. Apparently, I just buy mostly for needs or a little higher than needs, sometimes. One thing restrains me of having a baby yet is that I cannot have what I wanted to or at least I can have a complete woman's apparel. To get that, it need not be expensive but quality. I know most quality ones also means expensive ones but not to me. I am sale hunter and I select its texture (when it comes to clothes) and would allot more time to it (as I know selecting stuffs on-sale can be a daunting task) before buying. It can be window shopping first and did I say more? Hahah! Yes, I like window shopping first before buying to which my DH do not like (by himself) because he is allergic to crowds or to stores. And it is not bad, it is just what he is. :-)

To make the story short, it cost me couple of hours to buy that two other liquid cloth texture of black and brown half slips (okay the brand is FIT, just don't let me tell you what's that mean or I can give you another post.. LOL or should you like.. *:-P Oops I also bought different colors (brown, light-brown, black, dark blue and white) five personal stuffs by Felina, Chaps, Jones New York and Warners -- that's not a brag because I believe sometimes that if we have it, then flaunt it! Don't you think? Okay, just sometimes). I just so love it as it is made 90 percent+ of polyester or nylon. Okay, I do not buy that mostly as I just have Hanes packs for casual. :-D It feels well to have those as it adds my confidence. *wink*. I also had white and black shirts together with it. I could never be happier. Ha! The joy of stressful and low moment, retail therapy.

Computer's Perk and Struggle

Having a computer is such an overwhelming feeling. It has its perk as well as struggle on its journey as its name define. Aright, it brings a lot of perks. It makes our work easier and it offers a speedy information with just a click of one's computer mouse. But hey, if a computer's memory is overload, then a struggle arises. It struggles how to get a fast connection when in fact (after seeing a low virtual memory message ) it is just the memory is the problem which needs to tend to as soon as possible. One must have to buy memory to increase its speed or computer owner/user will be shuck with such slow memory capacity. Hence, the work cannot be completed. Isn't that a bad day having such scenario? Ooh well. :( Just get the best one which suits one's need. I wish you all the best. :-)

Online Auction

Back then I am not familiar with any auction site both offline and online auction. Though I graduated a commerce degree course but it differs with the place and how I came to know it. Until one blogger buddy told me about one famous online auction . I will just not tell you what website is it but perhaps you have it on your mind now, well okay, just a hint --- it is like Webstore. Yes, I was amused into it. I like bidding and it expands my horizon as well as saves much than buying it in traditional way. I was even lucky to have my rubberized mouse pad and computer mouse which DH had it love it. And some of my body accessories. I paid it through PayPal (which is the secure way of paying online), whenever I have some fund or extras from need. I just anyway have to know when to stop and how much to bid, its equivalent when I have to buy it. How about you, have you ever tried into an online auction? How do you like it?

Receipt Printer is Valuable

It is not only valuable for the business but for the customers too! Why? It has actually a simple answer for that, it is because receipt printer apparently produces receipt which customers can demand for something it is use for. If you did not know, keeping a receipt is useful when returning defective goods or services since without it, it is difficult to do such or it is expected to have a lot of process just to return or claiming a refund. Businesses require such and customers should be prepared to present it as it may serve. On the other hand, it is useful for the business just of the same as to customers, for an easy transaction for claiming of something. Also, it is unusual for a business especially stores for having none of it, don't you think? So then, have a great day and enjoy having a day to day commerce as it is important to in any place, in any way. :-)

Got One Cool Shirt

Yes, I do not have a picture of it but one day very soon, I let you see it. It is not an intention to buy to buy for it but a need of just have to do it. I say "need" because I was in a shopping store to cool-off the hotness of the weather the day after yesterday. Then I felt amusing looking at the shirt which is not that pricey, as always I am looking for a discount, sale or coupon as I window shop. Good thing I have enough money for it or else my shopping soul could felt uncomfortable. Oops! And also it is not a good manner of being at the store for long and do not buy something even only one. Well, exclusion for it if the store does not have what you look for. For the name of cooling-off, one must also pay for it through buying something, or as I said even only one. It does not mean to buy the pricey or the wants but what count is what is in your mind or the conscience behind it. Ha! Do I sound silly? That's for you then to judge, pre-judge or whatever. Kiver! ;-)
